About Us
The primary objective of La Famia is to provide accountable and sustainable community sourced and based family management programmes through its academic training school and resultant professional agency of networked family care professionals.
The La Famia Management system essentially redefines and empowers the family at the community level. This is accomplished through advanced family education and shared responsibility to include the identification and employment of community participants and existing resources.
In effect, the community must meet the challenge at the grass roots level by balancing the choice of parental employment both within and outside of the family structure with community based in-home pre-school childcare, youth development programs, advanced parental and family management courses in all areas of domestic interest, and the utilization of the time honoured knowledge and wisdom of the elder generations, all under the umbrella of La Famia’s Community / Family Management programs.
The end result must be to provide a choice for experienced parents to enter the work force commercially or domestically through La Famia to provide a balance of employment opportunities and in the process restore the authority of family management back to the nuclear family surrounded by a comprehensive community support structure.
